This year, Rosie, age 9, got a pixie haircut. Lucy, age 11, took an art class at the Art Institute of Chicago. The girls tried paddleboarding for the first time. Ann knitted a sweater from yarn reclaimed from a sweater her mother knitted 50 years ago. Jon learned how to shuck oysters. And in June, Jon and Ann heard U2 in concert.
We [sincerely do] wish you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
We were hoping it might be true that Ann knitted a pussy hat from yarn reclaimed from a sweater Jay Leno knitted 88 years ago! Oh well, sounds pretty neat anyway. Slimy Christmas and a happy saltlick to you!
